Some history from Richard White.

Built on Friday 17th October, my GT is the 9th from last GT ever built.

Purchased in July 1992 from its second owner showing 28,000 miles, she has now covered just 47,000 miles and is all original.

During the first few years of ownership, I attended many runs and car shows, winning a few Pride of Ownership awards during this time.  I remember very well taking her back to Abingdon in 1992 and parking her outside the factory’s A and B blocks for the usual enthusiast photos.

Highlights were the 2 trips to France with my local MGOC group that I ran from 1996 to 2001, Regency Runs and trips to Abingdon for the MGCC Abingdon Works Shows which were excellent.  I was lucky enough to meet Geoff Allen one year who commended her with a second place POO award.

Quite often when I first bought her she was the only Limited Edition among a sea of Bs and I was asked once why I had repainted her in a non original colour!  Thankfully now the LE models are much better known and the surviving cars are much loved.
