MGB Register Stowe Drive In

The MGB Register are arranging a run-in to the National Trust Gardens Stowe near Buckingham to visit this unique installation on Wednesday, 9th  October 2024.
Access to the Installation is free to National Trust and RHS members and £15.00 standard entry per adult for non members.
Whilst the installation was still being made there were 150 silhouettes on display at Stowe last November and following the full installation at Dunkirk for the 80th Anniversary of the D Day landings, we are lucky to have the full 1475 silhouettes being on display at Stowe from October to mid November.
This is a very moving tribute to the 1475 lives lost on the first day of the landings and well worth a visit.
We aim to meet in the cafe at 10:30 am for coffee (bacon rolls are available) and then disburse into the gardens.
The installation will be in various locations in the gardens but the main part will be located in the Grecian Valley which is approximately a 30 minute walk from the Visitor Centre so please bring good walking shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather on the day.
A 3 seater buggy has been booked for the day to provide support for the less able and those who find the return walk too much.
This is an informal gathering open to all MG andClassic car enthusiasts but All are welcome.
